OUR JOURNEY

 

Our church is a place where broken becomes mended, lost is found and deep hurts turn to hope. The Potters House Christian Faith Church of Lusaka was founded in 1994 in a powerful move of God and we continue to see God’s hand at work in our church. In 1994 Pastor Vic Eason and his wife Wilma first arrived and began the work in a school room. Before long a plot was located and a tent erected to hold services. Pastor Steve and Jeannie Bowman assumed the pastorate and saw the work blossom under their ministry from 1997 until 2007 and in that time a building was erected to hold church and facilitate the Central Africa Bible Conference.  Pastor Jeff Day and his wife Maureen have continued the work and presently pastor the Libala church.  There are presently over fifty-five Potter’s House churches in Zambia.  Our warm and friendly congregation, has been serving the Lusaka area for over 23 years. OUR ROOTS

 

The Potter's House Christian Faith Church in Lusaka, Zambia is a Christian Fellowship Ministries' Church (CFM). CFM, Inc. was founded in 1970 by Pastor Wayman Mitchell.  A spiritual fire was launched that is spanning the globe.  Now, over 2,300 churches have been planted in over 130 nations of the world with number growing daily.  From that, crusades and conferences sprung up that are touching tens of thousands every year.  This church is a product of that vision and is working to see it expanded in the short time that remains before Jesus' return. God has given us a vision for the day we live in.  Our message is simple, yet it is the cornerstone of all truth.  Jesus Christ is the only hope for man's salvation and that is true with every person in every nation on the globe.  In a world full of empty dreams and false promises is a truth which grows stronger every year, and that is Jesus Christ and Him crucified!
